The Record · Inventor
Thirty US patents, and not one of them from an engineer.
Twenty-four utility patents and six design patents name Eric Sanchez as an inventor. He has no engineering degree. He built the systems because the firm needed them.
The Story
He taught himself databases because nobody else was going to.
Eric joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2000 as employee number seven, hired as an office manager. The firm had no case-management software, so he taught himself database development and built its first one.
Two decades later that internal platform had become a legal CRM company spun out of the firm, and the portfolio had grown to thirty grants spanning intake analytics, data security, database management and interface design.
For a room full of leaders, the patents settle one question: he is not describing systems he studied. He is describing systems he built, which the USPTO examined and found novel.

Complete USPTO grant documents for all thirty patents are available on request.
All thirty, one by one.
Every grant below links to its own record at the United States Patent and Trademark Office via Google Patents. Twenty-four utility patents and six design patents, granted between 2017 and 2024.
A Google Patents search for the inventor name returns only part of this set — grants are indexed under more than one form of the name, and design patents often do not surface in an inventor query at all. The per-patent links below are the reliable way to check the count.
